By serving as an owner’s representative and learning from others in the same role, I find that owners are constantly looking for more effective ways to develop facilities that add quality to building portfolios in a cost-efficient manner. To that effect, many expand their range of capability to the procurement of design and construction services. I have collaborated with several owners in design-build projects and planning initiatives.

The Public Architects Committee Holds Its 2007 Training Workshop

In association with the May 2007 AIA National Convention in San Antonio, the Public Architects Committee held its eighth annual Public Architects Training Workshop, an all-day, multiple-program event. This annual event is a valuable opportunity for public architects to gather, share information, and learn what others are doing in the field.
