The first biennial international conference on Building Enclosure Science and Technology (BEST). To be held June 10-12, 2008, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, MN, hosted by Building Enclosure Council BEC-Minnesota. The conference is carrying out BETEC's mission in exploring the advancement of the energy efficiency of buildings as well as moisture, the indoor environment and the durability of buildings.

BEST 1 will present three themes:
Bugs, Mold, and Rot IV—Do We Know What We Don't Know About Fungal Growth, Corrosion and Decay in Building Materials?
Energy Efficiency In Buildings—Where Are We and Where Should We Be Going?
Fenestration—Optimizing Glass as a Solution to Energy Concerns
