2008 AIA Integrated Project Delivery
Agreements
In May 2008 the AIA released the Institutes first ever
agreements for integrated project delivery. Implementing principles
and concepts laid out in Integrated Project Delivery: A
Guide, the AIA provides agreements for two levels of
integrated project delivery. The first type is transitional and
offers a comfortable first step into integrated project delivery;
the second type introduces a fully integrated way of delivering a
design and construction project. In this podcast two members of the
AIA Documents Committee discuss the new agreements, their features,
and their potential for application in an integrated project
delivery environment.
